The provider of high-quality online and mobile casino games Yggdrasil Gaming revealed that it has made two seniors’ additions to its management team. As announced by the company, Andrew Pegler was appointed at the position of Chief Commercial Officer, while Krzysztof Opalka who has been working as Head of Front End Development and Operations has occupied the position of Chief Product Officer.
This are the latest appointments within the ongoing recruitment drive in Yggdrasil, which has been resulted in the company doubling its size over the past 12 months.
The Chief Executive Officer of Yggdrasil Gaming Fredrik Elmqvist commented on the new additions to the management team of the company, and welcomed Pegler and Opalka to their new positions. Mr. Elmqvist said that the promotion of Mr. Opalka was well-deserved and congratulated him about it.
The gaming company’s boss explained that having the best people in its team was crucial for Yggdrasil at a time when the company has been focused on expanding its reach and consolidating its presence on the market. According to him, the two new additions would fit perfectly to the situation as they meet all requirements of the company. Mr. Elmqvist explained that both of them would play a key role in the direction of Yggdrasil’s business in the future.
Mr. Andrew Pegler is known as one of the veterans in the online gaming business with over 12 years of professional experience in the industry. He joins the team of Yggdrasil Gaming from Scientific Games where he had occupied the position of Senior Director at Scientific’s interactive division. Before that, he had worked in a number of gaming companies.
After the appointment, he will be based out of the Gibraltar office of Yggdrasil. Mr. Pegler will bear the responsibility for expanding the presence of the gaming software supplier in the region.
Mr. Krzystof Opalka, on the other hand, was promoted as Chief Product Offier, after initially being responsible for leading the multi-disciplinary team of the company, as well as working on the matters related to building the technology and processes in Yggdrasil.
Now Mr. Opalka will be based in the development office of Yggdrasil in Krakow, Poland.
Both Andrew Pegler and Krzystof Opalka shared they were very happy with their new positions in the company and said they would do anything possible in order to guarantee the further growth of the company.
